MCC GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1990 in Karlsruhe, Germany. Already 3 years after the company’s founding, a close cooperation developed with Weinmann GmbH & Co KG in Hamburg. In 2007, our partner company in Tomsk, Russia was founded. Today, the Weinmann group at the R&D site in Karlsruhe employs around 50 people. At MCC in Tomsk, there are another 8 software developers.

Creativity, accountability, motivation and enthusiasm are firmly integrated in our approach. We are convinced that success comes only from teamwork and originates in a company culture based on these values. “Idea-scouting and selection are important jobs for us.

In our development, we always focus on market requirements and get doctors, users and patients involved in each step along the way,” says Bernd Schöller, Director of Research and Development in Karlsruhe. Ideas are welcome. That‘s the core of the ongoing innovation process at Weinmann that we call “InnoChamp”.

 

Our core competences are in the area of non-invasive monitoring of vital functions and sleep medicine diagnostics. Here, the product range includes developments from all areas of measurement, recording, visualization and evaluation of diagnostic signals. But also parameters such as respiration, ECG, EEG, acoustic signals, as well as new parameters are being researched. MCC is doing intensive (basic) research in these areas in close cooperation with internationally renowned institutes and universities.

About 20 years ago, everything began with the development and manufacture of our first pulse oximeter. Later, products for capnometry and the ECG board followed. All of our know-how can be found today in the products of Weinmann GmbH+Co.KG.
